Welcome to Kindy Tweenz

How it all started...

Kindy Tweenz opened in October 2007, formerly Kindy Totz. We are privately owned, and are fully licensed by the Ministry of Education for 25 children per session, with two qualified, caring staff, and a part-time teacher.

Ilonca, the owner and Supervisor of Kindy Kidz, set up Kindy Kidz in 1996. She has experience as both a Primary and Early Childhood teacher. The programme reflects this, as she feels it is important to make the transition from Kindy to School as easy as possible, by equipping the children with many skills, to help them cope, and to make them feel confident in themselves.

The programme at Kindy Tweenz, follows the same philosophy, but at an earlier developmental stage. The children begin to learn the early maths concepts, by matching, counting, using colours etc. and the early literacy skills, by identifying their name, reading and listening to books, matching activities etc. The children progress from Kindy Tweenz to Kindy Kidz, as the routines are the same, the children settle very easy and develop on the skills they have already learnt.
